The World Congress on High Speed Rail, initiated and organized by the International Union of Railways (UIC) since 1992，has now become the leading global event for showcasing and exchanging views on the developments and achievements of the worldwide high speed rail. The 7th World Congress on High Speed Rail, or UIC Highspeed 2010, will invite high-level officials from international railway organizations and railway authorities in different countries, senior management of global railway giants and high-speed railway experts. On December 5-6, the UIC Executive Board and General Assembly will be held at China National Convention Centre, Beijing.

The official congress languages will be English and Chinese.
